A lot of people seem to feel that govcoin and corpcoin are the next logical step for cryptocurrency.  I could be wrong, but the concept of centralized cryptocurrencies horrifies me.  Not only does it defeat the purpose of the decentralized Bitcoin model, institution specific currencies have historically never gone well.
