why luol deng has no hops?

There are two types of African Americans when it comes to speed and vertical.  East Africans are usual slower but can run longer distance.  Luol deng is from an east african country (nigeria?)  so he never jumps high and always gets blocked but can shoot good and play for long time.  West africans on other hand are just flying over ppl.  Those are ppl like mj derrick rose kobe vc etc
