I managed to sync without issue, but RPC is a problem.

According to the source (and daemon help) 63115 is the RPC port for main, 64115 is the RPC port for testnet

However, the client has bound to 64115 (which is apparently testnet) and seems to be refusing RPC requests from external IPs.

Well atleast we got a new concept. A smileys instead of a letter (BTC, LTC) or number (42).

I hope a better dev make a similar coin like this. Instead of smiley, make a dragon face.

Msg me if you want me to put anything here.

50% premine? Are we being trolled super hard or is the OP really that stupid?

I'm still intrigued by the fact that the client is using the testnet RPC port, but seems to be using the mainnet p2p port.

why i'm creating ninten coin: i'm creating ninten coin to win a bet. My friend bet me I didn't know how to program in c++, so she's offering me 3 games from her classic game collection if I can prove to her I can code!

Dev you lost the bet, you can't!

I dumped the interface and managed to capture the text reason of why RPC is being ignored:

{"result":null,"error":{"code":-10,"message":"Nintencoin is downloading blocks..."},"id":0}

According to my client the last block was generated 31 seconds ago. What else is there to download?

No probs, yeah 50% premine is insane.
The ironic thing is that they could have mined a few blocks with the wallet when everyone couldn't connect their cards, then release an update and most would be happy.
No premine and the dev has a few blocks.

I think this is the reason the client is eternally stuck in "not done yet" mode... looks like the dev forgot to delete checkpoints from the source he copied! Or can see into the future.

Code:
    static MapCheckpoints mapCheckpoints =
        boost::assign::map_list_of

Does this mean the clients are going to start dropping off when we hit block 1500, and the hash doesn't match the checkpoint?

Edit: These are Litecoin checkpoints.

Nice work. I think the only person mining this coin on block 1500 will be nintencoin, so no worries that it gets stuck!

Dev has commented out the mystery checkpoints. I've now recompiled and can successfully mine.

As for the 50% premine and this coin... well...
