I tried mining this for 4 hours at launch then gave up. Seems like a really cool coin though, I wish I could've got a decent amount but after getting them stolen I just decided to throw in the towel.

I have just been trying it and at least the CryptoChomper pool is junk.   When I first connect I get share but soon it starts rejecting them.  Restart minerd and it works again for a few minutes.    I've never had problems like this before with any other coin.

Anyway the only reason why I was trying was to see would it is like early on.   So far I've been disappointed.

yes, I had same experience - but then tried 3 other pools, and even solo mining and now when net hashrate rised  I come back to cryptochomper- and must say - everything is working ok  - even payouts too
Mate I lost almost 1 K on  cham.idcry...  hope they will give it back.

I give up!   This is probably both a scam and gross incompetence of the devs involved.   The only thing they did right was come up with a good name for the coin.   Everything else is completely subpar.

Hmmm, it seems that the miner is reporting invalid shares but the pool is counting most of them as valid.   This is really poor software even for crypto coins.   It seems that lots of people are leaving already as the difficulty is going down.   It
is already under 2.

I tried again, even set up a proxy.   Whatever server cham.cryptochomper.com is using just isn't working well.   I'll get a few shares and then everything is invalid.   I guess it doesn't matter, it has been a scam coin with a scam of a launch.   Many people here have been cheated and frankly the devs couldn't even be bothered to put the wallet into a folder named something better than wallet-qt.   This is simply and completely garbage.   My 13 year old could have done a better job.   That is what leads me to believe that it is just a scam.

Within last 5 hours I found in total 5 blocks that what said cgminer, but on  pool I can see only 3 of them signed as my own...

For some reasons my workers get "temporaily banned" for period of 10 mins.

Would be nice to hear something from CryptoChompy.

I just tried mining PRT at a pool that is clearly based on the same code as the CryptoChomper pool.   It is running great and I already have 2.5 coins.    Something is just messed up with the pools and wacky wallet here.   This coin is a total waste.  Nothing innovative and dishonest backers.
