Hey,

can any of the BitCoin ASICs be used for mining AltCoins? Or are there any specialized AltCoin ASICs?

The only altcoins BTC ASICs can mine are of the type SHA-256.

Yes. And there are some news of scrypt ASIC development from a few companies.
