#advice :
its not convenient to do some event because of we have to confirm twice password. eg : send coin .
could you only have only one confirmation ?
Yes that would be more convenient. Somewhere in change log or in one ticket we already wrote that this is not user convenient as for now. We will change that with 0.62. It needs a small change in the code structure. We might bring up a 0.61.1 version soon, if everything stays stable with smaller changes like that which wouldn't need a chain stop/restart. But lets wait some hours/days what 0.61 will look like
I allready propose to make a correct french translation a month ago, still waiting for dev's answer..
Indeed I forgot about that. Sorry. We got a reply from the original author of that translation and he made me believe that it is not a google translation. But if it is not good enough from your points of view (we do not speak a single word french) then a new translation would be good I guess (with the current, updated information).
In fact, it's literally impossible to understand anything from this "french translation" if you are french.
I don't know if it's a google translate job (it looks like), but be assured it was made by someone who didn't speak a word of french neither
Alright we will start with a new translation. I'll post about this again soon. Sorry for the long delay on this issue.
When will this coin hit the exchange?
That is hard to tell. We need a rock solid client version first. Then we can talk about a go-live eta and an exchange start
So if you say: "our timelines hardly have been accurate in the past I must admit", why be so precise than?
Just point people to your development updates and once in a while let us know how you are doing in this thread.
At this point I merely laugh when I see another launch date and think: "I believe it when I see it"...
You are probbly right. We should consider your approach...

Agreed - that is way to less. We will increase the amount of voters soon.
What happens to the stakes of those of us that bought with LTC and have coins still in escrow, now that LTC value is dropping considerably?
will be treated as a full 1.5 BTC stake ( if you have bought a full LTC stake)
Good question. I bet the dev has to take the loss by himself. A deal is a deal. Welcome to the crypto world!
True. That's life
I did not heared of that rumor, nor is one of us cunicula nor do we even know cunicula
i didnt have time test mining in beta
im switch my from amd cards to nvidia cards
is exo minable with nvidia?
currently u can only mine with cpu.gpu miner has not been implemented yet
thats bad and open doors for botnets
is gpu mining support planned and if yes is amd and nvidia based gpu supported?
don't worry.dev said the gpu miner will be ready before the POW phrase starts.not sure if Nvidia gpu will be included though.
Right, we won't start the PoW phase before the gpu miner is ready! We would rather postpone the mining start than starting with cpu version only.
We cannot guarantee that nvidia will be supported or if it would be performant. We need more time to tell you that.
I knew it! You are responsible guys, but no time sense.
Yeah our time sense is a lil bit offset from reality, I admit. It is really hard to forecast timelines due to unforeseen issues here and there.
take care of yourself . Healthy is more important than anything.
Agreed, we will continue the developement motivated but reasonably.
Devs are already developing 0.7 version
fixed multiple issues with checkpoint block functionality. In 0.61 checkpoints will be created successfully. They will be used, however, rarely in the program yet.
Priority: --> low
Fixed-In: --> 0.7
http://sourceforge.net/p/exocoin/tickets/16/thats no sign for that
all it say is this issue is low priority and fix is postphoned to be included into version 0.7
this fill the backlog of whats to to in 0.7
but they still dont work on 0.7
its normal practice move features/fixes in later versions if u dont have time to include in actual version
Yes, thanks for the already given explanation cryptonit. You are perfectly right.
The dev should quit your job in Foxconn and finish coin. All investors have not paid 292 BTC for to have a development in his free time.
I can understand what you are saying. However, we do develop eXocoin besides a full time job. Don't get me wrong, that amount is great and more than we ever expected, but it surely is not enough to quit the "normal career" (and we would not want to do that anyway). Anyway we see eXocoin as a 2nd full time job, so it's roughly 2x40h or more a week. So you do not need to worry that we are not investing enough time or are not motivated enough to continue with development.
so the devs give up the project and return the BTCs
We still hold our earliest promise: If we would finally fail then we return the investments. They are not touched except for some server buyings.
we did not stoped working on 0.61. New status update should be
available in 1-2 days. Sorry for delays.
Devs update exocoin.org
Anyone belives in this dates. Latest posts from devs "Delay ETA in 2 days; Latest problems in 0.61 are solved. Running final tests in some
hours again; I really do hope that
we can release 0.61 tomorrow or the day after" And now again 1-2 days
I think after 1 week we will see running some "final" tests.
Why devs dont post real dates? Why they constantly post
"Tomorrow"?
As stated above, it is just hard to tell or forecast a realistic eta. As suggested above, we may will change our communication way in this aspect;
like Scott J explained:
Because working on a project like this is dynamic - there is no way to predict what problems will arise and how long they will take to deal with.
eXo has a very patient community and creative developers. This will ensure the future success of the coin.
Indeed, we are glad with the experienced trust and patience! I hope that we can gove back a good product in return.
Does the bug really fixed forever ?
We will see soon. Test is running...
Next message from me tomorrow or the day after.
Classic.
You surely would miss something without that sentence I guess
This coin has too many issues in the pre-launch... Hope to not see all this issues in live and maybe ETA much accurate
Well, that is "somewhat part of our plan". We want to ensure the client is rock solid before going live, so: No - those issues won't be experienced in live versions; otherwise we would not go live
I will answer to some other older quotes later on (1or2 days or something.
regards eXocoin
Let's see how good 0.61 will perform. We have high expectations but you never really know until beta testing happens.
We will monitor the network and give a status update tomorrow.
Please do not mass-initiate too many transactions per block until the next update, since syncing up with that large blocks could still be annoying for new peers.
