Long-term trading is suitable for new entrants into the market, not much experience. Because when you invest long term, you should only invest in crypto top 2 in that market is BTC and ETH. After investing you hold at least a year and not care about exchange rate fluctuations in the market, then surely you will have a high profit.

Long term trading is suitable for everyone it does not matter if you are a newbie or a very experimented person in the market since that gives the best profits, those that think that day trading is better are only focusing in the potential profits they can get not realizing that only a minority of traders get anything close to the profits they dream.

Yeah i agree with you my friend, long term investments of trading is suitable for all types of persons whether you are a newbie or a day trader., if you dont have enough time for everything, or you have a job, then long term investing is suitable for you., long term investing is really worth it because it is not hassle for you to think everyday., and profits may be higher i think., based on my experience, i got more profits from long term investing rather than trading, its because i have a day job to do.

That sound really an interesting idea, to be honest I'm really jealous to the people who can choose either long-term or short-term trading, I don't even consider myself as a trader as well, I just sell my tokens when the value is really good or when I really need a fiat, though to be honest I really wanted to try short-term trader or even the so called day trader, I just don't have the time right.

first of all , this topic is about trading and should be moved to trading boards. anyways lets get back to the original topic. if you were to ask me why i would  choose long term trading ? simply because long term trading gives you the ability to earn more income as when compared to short or mid term trading due to the fact that the longer you hold or trade the more price increase will posibly occur in the future . however if you are already contented to your profit and wouldnt love to earn more , then i guess that is the time that you should stop and quit on trading.

for sure i would prefer everybody for long term trading or long term holding, especially if we see the trend right now, too risky for short term trading even for expert trader. i think we can even get more advantages in long term trading rather than short term trading, not only get more benefit from our altcoins also to manage the risk factor that some people already lose big money from trading nowadays.

Day trading is by far the most difficult way to trade, there are traders that buy a coin and hold it for months and then sell it, in my opinion if people want to become traders this is a better way than to jump directly to day trading where you need to take decisions very fast and only those that have the ability to read the market in seconds will be capable of taking the right decision most of the time under those difficult circumstances.

Trading long-term and short-term do have risks respectively.
I think that if for beginners it is better to trade long-term because to minimize the risk of loss.
If a short term for a newbie will be a big risk because doing sort sort trading requires patience, extensive experience and good strategy.

It also keeps you away from the panic selling because you would not check the market values daily and would not worry much about the price fall and rise. Almost all the current Bitcoin billionaires are the long term holders and have been earning using the strategy.

Long term is because its easier. But you have to become immune to seeing your money in the red and the only way you'll be comfortable is if you're not 'all-in'. So use proper risk management before investing.

i also do mostly long-term hodling or trading, removes the short-term noise from mkt volatility, then it's up to ur skill to evaluate the tokens based on their fundamental strength.

Long-term trading is always be the best way to go. For most of the momentum a token generate is by reaching their specific timelines. Patience is needed in crypto and most of the day-traders are happy in a $100-200 gains but remember that this is a high risk high reward scenario. I'd rather hold the token and wait for it to skyrocket than just dump it after it has been transferred to my wallet.
