Can I ask for merit?
There is no need to do this and this behaviour is usually seen as 'merit begging' which is frowned upon by the community and may lead to you receiving negative feedback. Keep making quality, constructive posts and you will surely be rewarded over time. If this statement is true then I believe user sibnia needs to be tagged with the account mellonVeryFunnny is an alt of mellon created to recover the mellon account. I wanted to vouch for recovering his/her account but when I saw the unusual merit activities then I warned them. You are a merit abuser. Your profile needs to be investigated and I suspect you have a connection with sibnia and Steepdev.
May be they are you ALTs.
Sadly it's not BitcoinTalk far you, it's SteepCoinTalk for you and your gang.

I thought it was decided to NOT take action against merit abuse cases anymore, to just let them be and wait for the merit airdrop to run out..
DT members like actmyname do tag merit abusers, but only in obvious cases where there's little doubt about what's going on. I've seen Vod tag people as well. In general, though, you are correct that merit abusers don't get tagged. It's a very gray area and DT action has been less consistent than, say, loan scammers or bounty cheaters and that's because of the inherent uncertainty as to what people consider good posts and how much merit to give out. Theymos has also suggested that suspected merit abusers shouldn't be tagged, that it'll all work out in the end--and that's why I haven't been leaving negs for people. Some members have probably ranked up when they shouldn't have, because they're shitposters, but overall it's still MUCH harder for them to do so. That's progress. |

I disagree with them being tagged.
They obviously have a relationship and can vouch and trust each other. It's just easier to leave them to it (as stated above).
Also, it's been a while since this case came up originally - why what's caused the delay mday?

Looks like a personal thread for my main account. At first will be good and honest from you to share that link in my recovery thread where you start that issue to me. Or give a reference to all our discussion and to my main account mellon and account of my friend sibnia. You continue post not all info and do that like its more effective for your position. its not so honest from you. How you think all that guy topicstarter must be merit for that topic? May be here a main clue of your activity mday? In real in not see any other activity of that guy on forum less than try to find unlegit ( by his own opinion ) actions with merits from another members of cryptocommunity. But its really his own deal. How im remember in cryptocommunity all members are in a same positions and free choose by yourself what to do ( if anyone from community provide any scam action to another , its a real reason to create any alert and share proofs with all details to aware another members of community ) . Merited my friend account by part of my own merit be my own choice, only help my real friend not any reason here. When help are provide like a bad action here? |

If im understand all that right where here any routings? Or may be anyone can show any posts when im ask anyone about merits for me (by mellon account) or for my alt anyone? VeryFunnny - Did you look at the links? Notice how these merit histories have blocks of consecutive merit sent to other accounts? Notice that if you click through these users with the blocks of merit, you easily come across all of those users giving eachother these blocks of consecutive merit, in like a trail.. It does not look good.. You should calm down about it before you turn it into... My merits that i was use not be routed or how you call that "trading" check that before post about that im merits traders or share where any merits here will go from one to another and unstopable. If you are not understand yet im not see here any bad actions from my side. Im sent merits to that who im know , if im will be know you before and you ask me about im sent it to you too. In February and January . Im not hear any problems about that. If for now here bad situation around merit abbusing , its not my fault and im not provide any spam botnet farming, im simple use all my 99 merits and forget about it. You try to make any drama around my action:))) really ppl here forgot sometime that here can be ussual normal members, who are not know about all that variants and abbusing methods simply because its not interested to them.
