This is the best Loki pool I’ve found.  Made more in 2 days here than in 4 days on a big pool.  Don’t fall into the trap of thinking a high hashrate pool equals a higher payout... it doesn’t.

That's up to the miners really, if there is a strong base consensus on another coin (we prefer cryptonote variants).

Quick update, we had some block effort calculations go haywire for a minute. Rather than purge everyone's data, we decided to leave it and let those high rates drop off from calculation over time. No payouts or any shares submitted were affected, it was merely a display error

Good news is we are moving to a new, more powerful back end VPS soon and SSL mining will be enabled for all ports ( currently only open for one port).

Can you please explain what an SSL port is and why I would want to use it.

SSL stands for Secure Socket Layer and provides an encrypted transmission of data from point to point. As LOKI is a privacy and anonymity focused coin, it makes sense to provide another layer of privacy for those that want it. Choosing to connect to an SSL port encrypts your submissions to the pool. If anyone needs help connecting with a particular miner, hop into our discord and we can provide assistance. It's a fairly simple process, usually just involves flipping a tag in the miner config to TLS = true.

We had an issue overnight where apparently the internet backbone for our ISP was damaged. Sorry everyone, but we are back up now and everything is running fine. New server is up and running nicely.  Currently running less than 60% effort, but need more miners.
You will usually make more coins mining on a lower hashrate pool than on a higher hashrate pool.  Big pools tend to run around 100% effort (luck) due to their size.  Smaller pools typically run less than 100%... more coins for you!

Tx fees and denomination unit has been lowered, giving miners the maximum amount of each blocks reward and keeping less in pool wallets. Trying to alleviate as much LOKI dust as possible, sending it to you!
