Yes, I am not sure how the ripple market is going to end up anyway, but there may be some possibility to see it do great. Personally, I do not like centralization and since Ripple is a centralized currency and some shady stuffs which may be going on unknowingly by the devs, I always want to stay clear out, but as a trader, as long as it brings some short term movement, one can say there could be a possibility for it but from the whole list, EOS is my top pick.

After the majority of people have spotted the real reason behind the big dump to the ethereum price due to the EOS team and then the majority of them are feeling optimism again about that. Ethereum was the first platform that introduces the tokenization. It should be considered as the future.
On the vote, more people vote for ethereum. I agree with the result of the vote if ethereum as a winner but I will try to mention another ethereum based project named REMME. it builds on the etheruem platform too and the developer is very active to deliver the product at the time. REMME is introducing new passwordless security system for the future. I think that has a lot of chance to be used by the majority of icos built on ethereum platform too.

NEO has a large host of ICO being held on the platform this year, something like 20 already in the works for the next 4-5 months, this should translate to a higher price as most of those ICO only accept NEO or GAS as methods of payment,

On a side note, I think ADA will shoot up once their new wallet updates come into play for POS staking etc.

From the options given above I still see a bright future with eth, I believe it will be back on $1k level again. Great coins with a great technology and a coin being used by almost altcoins. Will keep on investing with eth while the price is still dump.

Etheruem will always be on the top for the altcoins and it very likely to be the next big thing in the future of cryptocurrency. ETH is the most flexible of all altcoins and many ICO;s are very dependent to the support of ETH.

I doubt that there is going to be a significant difference in performance between these coins, what you should ask is whether there is going to be another bull run this year or not. Everything is going to stay low if there's no BTC upward movement. Compare how these listed coins performed during the January surge and you will find an answer.

I'm gonna say none of the top ten market cap will have a price explosion this year. 2x - 3x may still be possible but if you are expecting a 10x or 100x, then you have to check out some cheaper gems.

Among the coins listed, my choice would be ETH. The use case for ETH attracts many businesses and corporations to be utilized respectively in real world and be adopted by most merchants to exchange for their products and services. Although, most of the coins are in consolidation mode, smart money will come probably around Q4 of 2018 which could make the prices increase again.

Personally I feel like ripple is a sleeping giant in the cryto currency world. They probably have the most right to wake up in the morning and change the price from 60 cents to $3 with no explanation or apologies. They are heavily centralized, working with big banks and money transfer companies like Moneygram and Western Union.

Ripple is a goodcoin no dount about this but being centralized i dont thing that this coin can make big thing in cryptocurrency.

I have a good look as sleeping giants is ethereum,which obviously using by more ico as platform theres nothing to make a second thought that after few years we can taste the bullrun of this second top coin

Ether, eos and neo will grow much more rapidly than the same ripple or Litecoin. For the tron I generally do not want to talk, it looks like a pump. So you need to invest in really valuable and most importantly dynamic coins.

I think the price of ethereum will explode this year .it will hit again to its new peak price..as we know the demand of ethereum is very high in the market. especially in the projects and ICO they use ethereum to send tokens .And also maybe this ripple will hit again another history this year because they are now working with the big banks and also they used as micropayments. So i think this two together with bitcoin also the father of all coin will explode  their price by the end of the year.

from some of the list of coins you mentioned I am very confident with ethereum and neo will experience a huge increase, it is only a matter of time to realize it. and additional: EOS seems to also have good potential.

I expect some nice surprises from Monero.
It was rather quiet lately, it was even losing quite some % because of Japan ruling out anonymous crypto.

But there's some interesting development related to it - called Tari - which may be a breakout and I expect to also increase the awareness and the price of Monero.
And I hope that Japan will understand that they were wrong and will unban anonymous crypto also this year.

I'm for ether. Despite the fact that there are other, more advanced platforms, ethereum is the first of its kind and well known, after BTC. Maybe next year will be differently.
