Well this what I think(Thibk because I do not know and I am still not sure if this os the main reason) and from what I know that I read before  

1. When market price increases it will poop from top to bottom
2. That is because of the people who buy and sell, in short trade it.
3. The people who hold different coins.


Plus it is like demand and supply

Main reason is that US Department of Justice is doing an investigation of price manipulation like fake volumes and spoofing as you have mentioned, that's why the price suddenly drops. So you all know that this market is based on speculation so any negative news will really affected the market.

One thing to remember though is that as time goes by, eventually we will recover from this kind of negative news and bounce back stronger but it will take some time though.

The recent investigations really put a lot of pressure in the market, newbies again panic resulting in another domino effect. Other's may call it normal as price correction. And then the best we can do is wait and then buy again in this kind of dip. Bitcoin is really a good steal right now because the price is around $7K, its a perfect buying time so I urge everyone to do so.

I haven't check the latest news about the ongoing investigation, but if it ended well then there's nothing to worry about and we can keep and go on our daily tradings moving forward.

All news is prediction, the true is no one knows. Understand that up and down is part of reality on real market and from this condition we need to find one opportunity ( just one ) to test our strategy. I'll not fight for the what the reason because will wasting my time, I'll keep watch my platform and find where is the second top bottom that I can start to buy back. Good luck all.

Precisely, that FUD news makes market getting worse the price and those smallholders easy to panic especially for those people quickly panic and believe in that news. Well, I don't believe what news it is because that can't affect bitcoin price and probably that was made those whales trying to ride the price movement in the market and to fool small investors to being panic to sell and make price decrease.
So, indeed there's no main reason for getting the price drop at this time only we holders make market worst.

I think it's just some of the bad news that attack bitcoin prices and I think that's normal, you should see when bitcoin prices are high some time ago there must be bad news that makes bitcoin prices collapsed.

The dropping of price to my understanding is a correction that is clearing up the initial panic by investors. Investing for this year has been of uncertainty in the market since the beginning of the year after the bitcoin came to its highest.

I think this is due to some panic selling of bitcoin by the new trader. Personally I advice the new investor to hold the bitcoin , rather than selling at the bottom.And if you have lot of money,this is the best time to buy a bitcoin.Hold your bitcoin and keep it with patience .

I think this movement of the market is normal considering bitcoin has been on a prolonged bullish trend for a while before this slow decrease to where the price now happens. People(especially newbies who have started using crypto just recently) seem to be forgetting that bitcoin has been into lower prices than this, for this reason, some people who have been using bitcoin for a while(users who use bitcoin since before halving) would only consider these movements as a mere correction.

I think the price factor is down a lot, for now, I see a price drop because of negative news about the crypto world, so if there is negative news about crypto then we can be sure price will go down ..

According to me some important reasons for price drop are:
1. The governments are holding a negative view about this cryptocurrency. Some say that they will be banning Bitcoin
2. Manipulation by big whales in the market.
3. Panic selling or FUD
Apart from that normal technical analysis and reaction of market to demand and supply can also be a reason.

I think the main reason is supply and demand is down in current scenario so total marketcap is continuously drop in the market. But some peoples are still believe the Crypto investment so again it will jump to positive line in future.

I think people are inclined to stockpile their btc so the amount of daily capital to trade will decrease , with the same of course the demand will also decrease. I think that is why the market is gradually going down but not falling dramatically. Perhaps we need some impact to stimulate demand, so the market can grow again.
