Escrow Agent: CanaryInTheMine

Item Selling: Nov 30 Preorder of BFL Monarch 600 GH/s

BFL's latest Monarch-related information. They update this post about every week with the latest status. At the time of this writing, the chip wafers have arrived and their slicing and packaging facility is processing them.

I am going to be 100% honest here, because too many people are blowing smoke about BFL Monarchs and being way over-optimistic on ship dates.

If all goes well, this MIGHT ship by Feb 15. More than likely March 15 or later.

Read the thread and you be the judge. This is the best information that we have to work off of.

Buy it now price: BTC4. This is approximately BTC1.86 less than I paid for it.

Taking offers. I'm not sure how low I'd go, but a lot depends on the timing and the latest news from BFL at the time of the offer.

I recognize the pessimism associated with these Monarchs due to the projected ship date slippage. This is why my buy it now price is lower than what I paid and why I am considering any offers.

Thanks for your time and I hope you all appreciate an HONEST "WTS Monarch 600GH" post. The others that I have seen have been ridiculous.

UPDATE 1/30/14

Dropping my asking price to BTC4.333 -- I'll pay the escrow fee. Also interested in trades.

Wow that day Nov 30, BTC was swinging wildly between $1060 high and $680 low.

With their track record, they are under alot of pressure because their products come out too slow.

SOrry they lowered the price in half.  They have a reputation for doing dumb shit like that.

They discontinued the 5GH Jalepenos because they are only worth $80 now.

My hope is that everything before the price drop around Xmas was in their bullet run and everything after is in phase 2 or 3. We'll see!

Two small bits of news.

First, the chips have arrived at the test facility: https://forums.butterflylabs.com/announcements/4414-monarch-information.html

However, this news doesn't do much one way or the other as far as confidence.

Secondly, I have an offer for USD equivalent of 3.37BTC.

I do prefer BTC, and would probably settle for a bit less if it's a BTC order (I'm chronically short of BTC due to buying miners for BTC and selling with USD constantly).

Anyway, I need to consider where my breaking point is here. I was really hoping for 5BTC, but I am starting to think the supply and demand are not in my favor. I'll make a decision in the near future.

Yea, sorry about that. Rate limiter hit me, then it wouldn't let me post my fixed reply.

Email: brianwebster@gmail.com

I have a few conference calls lined up, then I'll dig into the details a bit.

Shoot me an email so I have a reply address, if you would. Thanks
