Hey guys!

Just have a quick question about what would be an acceptable temprature to let my 280x's run on while mining. They're hovering around 85-90 while getting 700kh/s each atm.

Cheers,

Pow

Personally, I prefer my cards under 80c.

Are your temps at 100% fan or have you made any mods to the fan curve yet?

GPU 0 is running at 85% fan speed at intensity 13 for 701 kh/s  and gets temp 78
GPU 1 is running at 100% fan speed at intesnity 12 for 534 kh/s and gets temp 86

I have mine around 66c, I would suggest trying to get them around 75c. You should have a 3rd party fan blowing on them and powered risers so they're not on the motherboard, this increases air flow.

except you don't need powered risers if your running them in the x16 slots. I have all 280x rigs and not a powered riser to be seen, 0 problems on any of them.

Can you share your setup ? i have 3 sapphire 280x dual-x get about 705mhash at 50,66,69C. Im waiting for my risers to split my cards. With current setup, they will run at around 50C each. Then i can tune them for more hashes.

90 is the max limit, over which the card will go crazy.

I tried your settings, its about 1980khash with 3 of dual-x.

--gpu-fan 100 --gpu-engine 1010 --gpu-memclock 1250 -g 2 -I 13 -w 256 --thread-concurrency 8191 --gpu-vddc 1.09 --lookup-gap 2

This my settings, about 2100khash for 3 cards.
