Hi all,

I have Bitcoin in my wallet and want to purchase online, but the website doesn't accept Bitcoin. Is there a service that will allow you to send them BTC and have them send you the USD credit to your PayPal account as a trusted service?

1. User sends Bitcoin to website
2. Website sends USD equivalent to users PayPal ID
3. Website sells BTC and keeps the USD + / - fees etc

If there is one I'd like to know?

Thanks,
jmevz

BTC and paypal don't mix well at the moment. We aren't sure whether paypal will attempt to  destroy bitcoin or work with it.

An indirect method is to use Virwox. They don't allow direct BTC-USD trades, but you can deposit BTC and trade for Linden Dollars. Then turn around and trade Linden for USD and withdraw to your Paypal account. They also let you deposit up to a certain amount through Paypal which means you can buy small amounts of BTC indirectly with Paypal.

I haven't used virwox before, as the fee there is pretty bad. https://www.virwox.com/help.php#_Fees

Your right the fees are terrible. But its a reliable service and its helped me out a few times when I needed to buy BTC with paypal. No worries about chargebacks.

If you want to sell your BTC for Paypal / Card, then the only reliable option available is Virwox. (BTC to SLL, and then SLL to PayPal USD).

BitSimple is reliable (and a better price), so I wouldn't say "only reliable option".

Paying out in PayPal (BTC -> USD) not accepting PayPal (USD -> BTC).
