I have two ASUS R9 270X (R9270X-DC2T-2GD5) that refuse to go any higher (stably) than 380 KH/s each. I'm 99% sure that updating the vBIOS from 015.038.x.x.x to 015.041.x.x.x will get me up into the 400s as they should be.
However, when I try to update via the .exe from ASUS website, or through the update function in GPU-Tweak, both methods fail. I contacted ASUS support and they informed me that I must be on an ASUS motherboard in order for the update to work (which I'm not, ASRock Z77). I don't have access to an ASUS mobo other than buying one which I'd prefer not to do.
Has anyone had this issue or know of any other way to update the vBIOS on these cards?
