People make it really complicated when they talk about the safety of their wallets.. It is very simple thing that you have the key to your house and in the house you have gold pots with diamonds filled in. How do you see everything? You will obviously keep tight security around it and you will save your keys to somewhere place very safe.

Its just that you have to safeguard your keystone file and private keys in the same manner. Thats the only key to open up the whole thing so why not take extra precaution and save them with multiple copies on different hardware? You can always print the private key and place it somewhere safe. Simple.  Smiley

Hahaha, you store the private key like diamond and gold. Actually it does not needed at all that kind of security mate. I do not think you have big fund in your wallets. Better concern you could buy the hardware wallets like Trezor or ledger Nano s to keep your fund safe dude.
Other than if you have small amount just install the desktop wallet which is most used in your personal handy. That is enough and keep your private key in your computer hard disk and desktop folder with the app locked.

So simple mate , make more copy of your private key then keep it on your laptop or sd card which is no one can locate where it is and no one knows as well. And also don't ever share your private key to anyone specially to those people who always offer something  for your private key 'cause it's obvious (ponzi)  and stay away also from any ads that related on crypto 'cause nowadays there are some auto dload ads that can get your private information such social media accounts and etc which one's you click it ,

Most of the time, I am also troubled by this problem.
So I bought a hardware wallet, so I don't need to deliberately keep my private key, I just need to carry my hardware wallet with me.

I think that many people should think about buying a hardware wallet. Personally I have it and I am very happy with it. I also work from a separate computer, where I do crypto-currencies.

I usually save my private key on my mobile phone, and I will record a copy on my laptop! I think if you are too worried about being stolen, then you should avoid landing some unknown sites and download software!

Save the private key in flash disk, Never use private key on ether delta, fork delta, IDEX.. Always check the DNS on MEW.
And use trezor or ledger wallet.

Write your private keys on a paper and keep it somewhere or put it on a safety vault.

Don't write your private keys on emails or cloud storage because that's at risk and there are hackers that are targeting emails or cloud storage. There are incidents that newly registered emails or accounts to a website was used to recover bitcoins through their wallet by a site's administrator.

There are many options where to store the private key. I have it on a piece of flash drive which is covered in a secluded place. As many people write about writing on paper and storage in a way that is not bad for me, it will be necessary to create one for myself as well.

As the latest news about MEW that is being breached thru a phishing attack and got lost of many ethereum can anyone give me a recommendation on how to use and store my private keys safe? I have been scared from that moment on what if i try to login to my MEW and got my account also breach.
If you are a victim of a phishing attack then your wallet is totally lost no matter where you put it. To avoid phishing websites you should double check crypto related websites you often visit and you could also use an extension like Metamask to detect fake Myetherwallet.

You should use core wallet for all ETH and your token! You should use it on a computer that is not connected to the Internet and peripherals can transmit information outside. Good luck

I don't think that is a big problem today, I keep my coins in hardware wallet mostly and some in other platforms. Hardware wallets are the safest ones for storing coins.
