If you are in the USA, using Green Dot Moneypak is a great way to get btc quick.  You can trade those here pretty easily.  They cost $5 each and the max you can put on one card is $500.  A lot of stores sell them.  Google it if you are interested.

If you are in the US, once you get verified with coinbase you can get up to 1.0 btc instantly. Pretty convenient.
