Hello everyone !
Here is my problem : I bought 4 HD 7950 and the MSI 970A-G43 mobo which has 2 PCI 16x and 2 PCI 1x. I have two 16x -> 16x cables ans two 16x -> 1x powered cables. Whatever cable I use, graphics cards on 16x slot will work, however cards on 1x slot are not recognized by the OS (linux xubuntu) even if fans are running. So after a little search I found that I maybe need to short my 1x slots. I tried this without result but I'm not sure I did that correctly (my wire don't go very deep in the slot). I will buy resistors to create dummy plugs. I dont know what is the difference... I really need a quick help pls.
