Cool thx. What level of proficiency does it imply? Looks nice and all but ....

In my opinion you need at least 6 months working in a daily basis only in Magento and study something like 20 hs the study guide before the exam to have all the methods and name classes fresh.
Of course that the certification doesn't prove that you are a genius. Only proves that you know the platform, you spent several hours working with it and you are in commitment with the technology.
If you are a developer and you are asking me what you need to know, please download the study guide from the official website and check it for yourself, because all the questions in the test are in the study guide. So if you can answer all the questions you are going to pass it.
