Not sure if anyone else has the same problem with this board but I finally was about to get 4 gpus to work.  I have seen most can only get 3 due to thunderbolt taking up pcie lanes.   On the latest bios I put all of the thunderbolt options to 0 and for pci-e I disabled gen3 support and increased the latency to 192+.  Disabled any unnecessary usb, sata etc. Also had to short one of the presence pins as seen in the photo.

you can get 6 cards to work on that board using 1x risers, shorting slot #5 and not using slot 4.  no cards filling up the whole slot or 16x risers.

of course that depends on your OS.  But 5 will work without issue if you use slots 1,2,3,6,7.  Slot 5 is to be used last for the 6th card.

Impossible is a word found only in the dictionary of fools.

Not the thunderbolt version.  Everything I was able to find on google is that most gaveup on this board for more than 3 gpu.

After having 3 of these g45 thunderbolts I have decided to stay away from them.  On all 3, no matter what bios settings, more than 3 cards proves to be a ton of trouble.

I had a bad luck with this mobo too, returned it and got my money back.
