The supply on the exchange is low. The price could head up north soon.
I assume that most TEA was lost when the other exchanges de-listed and who knows how many users just deleted their wallets.
TEA has been at TS for some time now and there is not alot there.
Has anyone ever calculated the current coin supply?
I count about 4.4 million TEA for sale over the various markets on TradeSatoshi.
With 5.4 million blocks that's a minimum of 5.4 million TEA, and probably a lot more since earlier rewards were far more than 1 TEA.
Could we say there's perhaps 10 or 15 million TEA floating around? So 4.4 million on an exchange is still a fair sized chunk of the supply, especially since much of the supply is probably lost or mothballed.
Would be interesting if anyone knows the actual supply.
I came close to losing around 1 million TEA when crypto-trade.net was shutting down and the withdraw stalled, but I did end up getting my funds. All of that was mined at 1 TEA per block so it was basically a year's worth of mining reward for the entire network. Would have been painful to replenish that loss.
