I juggled the idea for a long time.

You can get 1 TEA per block now.  No matter how much hash rate you put on Teacoin your not going to change the yearly inflation by much.

People will be able to mine with old Bitcoin mining equipment.

I mine with 5 USB block Erupters that do about 1.66 GH.  It makes about 25 TEA per day and contributes to the generation of new blocks.  All of those coins go to free giveaways.

Blackcoin at 1% compound inflation should be about 747,000 BC per year and 3.8 M after 5 years for a total of 78.2 M BC after 5 years.

Teacoin at 2.5% mining inflation should be about 1,006,960 TEA per year and 5.2 M after 5 years for a total of 45.5 M TEA after 5 years.

It's not a huge difference it's just a preference on how you want to earn more coins.

If you want to earn more Teacoin you can buy a $6 USB Erupter on ebay and mine 5 Teacoin per day (turn it on and forget it).  You will earn allot more blocks of TEA then BC per day.  

Teacoin is a rare coin now.   Everyone needs to understand this.

Well that's true...block halving was just too fast so nobody is mining it anymore at all.
That pool idea would be great but it just seems that most of people are ignoring this coin totally.
