means there was a taxation of the goods by a professional.
who made a estimation of what the goods are worth and can sell for. they estimated its worth around €10.000,- euro for the whole lot.
also know as assessment.

it has nothing to do whit paying tax bills or transfer cost shipping cost ect.

its just a global assessment what the goods are worth.

hope this helped to get the confusion out.

No problem Smiley
But how do we know to trust the appraisal? Did a reputable appraisal firm look at the collection?

But how do we know to trust the appraisal? Did a reputable appraisal firm look at the collection?

I bought them from a big firm last year 2013 that went bankrupt. they traded coins and stamps and other old stuff.
to be honest only 2 books are whit appraisal receipts from this firm. this is appraised around 10.000 euro.
the other 3 books.
the german 1 (not geld 1900/1920) isn't appraised which include 500 to 700 paper money original and high quality bills (not geld) all original.
and 2 other stamp book whit blocks and day letters isn't appraised to.
they where called Philmunt cointrade & stamptrading.

it are a shit load of stamps and im not ganne find out the prices of the other stamps or geman bills.
im not asking the 10.000 euro its appraised on, yust give a nice btc number and im happy if I break even on this.

I think all stamps and books way some 5 kg maybe more remember that if I must ship it Wink.

need more info yust post it ill try to reply as soon as I can.

I'd like to make an offer but I'd need to see hard evidence first these are real. Appraisal certificates, correspondence with appraisal firm etc.

Dalkore,
empoweoqwj,

no problem if you want a independent appraisal. of course  at your own cost or you can send some one to me.
you can pm me for details.
Else I only have the appraisal of the 2 stamp books the bills are included. (again only 2 books are appraised).
the rest you get as extra and can let it be appraised by a specialist to or find out the value by you're self.

let me know Wink.

Please PM any documents you have. Obviously I can't appraise myself because I don't have the stamps Smiley

ill pm some photo`s no problem.
if im right you can rent a independent appraiser in my country, that will be no problem.
I think the problem is time and money. since I tried to get the rest appraised.
the appraiser told me it gone take weeks to appraise everything, well weeks appraising will take a lot of $$$$ and I don't want that Tongue
and I don't have the need to appraise it my self and find the other price`s of the stamps.
since stamps and bills/coins isn't my specialty.

give me a sec before I pm you since I need to make some photo`s upload ect.
