Can We Trust Anybody Online

Hello, BTC fellows, this is my first trial selling dolls in BTC today. A guy from Philippines was very interested in my product,and I asked for 0.03 BTC+shipping. He ordered it. Tomorrow I will post it you him, once he receive my doll, then pay me. I worry about......Can I trust him? Could you give me some advice?

Use trusted escrow. The escrow will hold the btc and the seller must have all receipt about picture of item and receipt of shipping. When the item reach the buyer, the escrow release the btc to the seller.

Don't send anything without getting the money upfront or put into escrow first.

As a general rule I would assume everybody is trying to scam you or at least be suspicious of them. There's nothing wrong with using an escrow.

Don't trust anyone offline, either. Trust cash and coin in your wallet (even though there's a significant chance the cash is counterfeit). Hold the gun whenever humanly possible.

I keep a fake £1 coin in my wallet just to demonstrate one of the benefits of Bitcoin over fiat. You can't tell the difference between the real and the fake ones unless you know what you're looking for.

Escrow is the answer. But for you it's to late , now you have to trust him.

You should have had used escrow, Everyone is going to be anonymous somehow, Kluge can do escrow, When they have the green trust rating, Your BTC are in good hands 90% of the time.

Oh , sorry tommorow you will post the doll. Don't do it. Search google for escrow , choose good one ,make transaction, be happy countig profit.

If you are the seller and have a better feedback or trust or vouches than the seller make him pay first. if you don't or the buyer refuses then offer using a middleman "person or website" .

No. You cant trust anyone,but it dosent mean there are no honest people. Never trade blindly,in your case id recommend using a trustable escrow.

If he gave you the money right away you're very lucky if not then don't post it to him until he gets some sort of escrow organised, if somebody wants to use an escrow then I'd take that as a sign they're legitimate.
