CharterAce.com, a yacht and jet charter hub for over 3,500 motor and sailing yachts and over 7,000 jets, now accepts Bitcoin. CharterAce matches clients with a perfect yacht or jet by utilizing its global network of operators and central agents allowing them to broker some of the lowest rates in the industry.

The founder and CEO of CharterAce.com, Timothy Boulay, teamed up with close friend Justin Blincoe, CFO of Coinapult, to accept Bitcoin payments without additional processing fees. Coinapult has the ability to exchange any price item available through CharterAce.com, including yacht charters up to $1,000,000 USD per week, allowing them to offer some of the biggest ticket items available for purchase in the bitcoin marketplace.

Coinapult shoulders the risk of price volatility and instantly transfers fiat currency to book a charter. Boulay stated that, "clients could benefit using bitcoin as a payment system to book chartered travel; it will make the transfer of funds cheaper, faster, and it will add a layer of anonymity."

When questioned about transaction security with Bitcoin, Boulay responded, "We didn't want to be behind the boat with the integration of Bitcoin into everyday business; but with the high cost of luxury travel, we didn't know how to mitigate bitcoin price volatility risk until meeting with Coinapult."

While CharterAce does not anticipate a large amount of their business in 2014 to come from the Bitcoin community, it is offering discounts on charters booked with Bitcoin to help promote the use and global acceptance of Bitcoin.

At a Bitcoin price of $850 USD, 85 coins (plus a few for expenses) would send you and a group of friends out to sea on the exclusive BB3 yacht (shown below) for a week long adventure. The BB3 comes loaded with features such as a state of the art stereo system, satellite TV, WiFi, SATCOM, fishing equipment, scuba gear, wakeboards, wave runners, paddle boards, and a barbecue. Then, top it all off with a jacuzzi on the deck.

Now that is an awesome yacht!

CharterAce.com assists clients with planning the details of their trips, whether for a relaxing vacation, company meeting, wedding party or product launch. A custom-tailored charter experience awaits you, from a limo at your front door all the way to your first step on a yacht.

Bitcoin acceptance is slowly making its way to the larger main stream companies, but it is the smaller companies like CharterAce.com who are paving the way for Bitcoin integration into everyday business use. It is a win-win for consumer and business owners, as Bitcoin transactions often do not charge the company or the consumer for sending or receiving funds.

Save on your next trip with CharterAce.com - play the right card
