The grue lurks in the darkest places of the earth. Its favorite diet is adventurers, but its insatiable appetite is tempered by its fear of light. No grue has ever been seen by the light of day, and few have survived its fearsome jaws to tell the tale.

Be advised that we are aware of the possible vulnerability of the "Fake Stake" attack.  We have been intensively working to replicate the attack on our chain.  Here is our update: We have NOT been fully successful yet in creating a "Fake Stake" attack on our chain, just as the UIUC blockchain group who reported on this were NOT fully successful in their attempts to attack all the PIVX-forked chains listed in the article. In an abundance of caution, the team is working on an update, which will occur this week. Unfortunately, CryptoBridge  has disabled withdrawals/deposits until this is resolved.  It sucks but we will get past it. We recommend in the following order these  LPC exchanges that are open: CoinExchange.io https://www.coinexchange.io/market/LPC/BTC, Crex24 https://crex24.com/exchange/LPC-BTC, Exrates https://exrates.me/dashboard, Aiodex (https://aiodex.com/exchange/LPC_BTC), and Southexchange (https://www.southxchange.com/Market/Book/LPC/BTC).  Thanks for your patience!

In our network, as in many others, there is a problem “Fake Stake”!
You can read more about the “Fake Stake” problem here:
https://medium.com/@dsl_uiuc/fake-stake-attacks-on-chain-based-proof-of-stake-cryptocurrenren-b8b05723f806

Please update your wallets to version 1.0.1.

1. First, update the all wallets on Linux VPS.
Log in to the Linux VPS console and run the following commands:

cd ~/lpcinstall/
git pull
bash lpc-update.sh

Wait for the update.
After wait about 1-2 minutes and execute the command:
lightpaycoin-cli getinfo

In response, you should receive:
"version": 1000100, - This is the new wallet version 1.0.1
"blocks": 359346, - This is how many blocks are loaded into the wallet
"connections": 16, - This is how many connections to the network are in the wallet

Then type the command:
lightpaycoin-cli mnsync status

In response, you should receive:
  "IsBlockchainSynced": true,
  "RequestedMasternodeAssets": 999,
Both of these parameters mean that the wallet is synchronized with the network.
If these parameters are not correct, wait 10-30 minutes and re-enter the command.

Then type the command:
lightpaycoin-cli masternode status

If get answered "Masternode successfully started", you don't need restart MN.

the official repository  https://github.com/lpcproject/LightPayCoin/releases/

2. Second, update the all wallets on Windows or MAC.
Make a backup of the wallet.dat file, it is here (do not remove it from the computer):
MacOS: ~/Library/Application Support/LightPayCoin/
Windows: c:\Users\YURE_USER_NAME\AppData\Roaming\LightPayCoin\

Also in this folder, delete files from the old wallet:
Delete the files: “peers.dat”, “mnpayments.dat”, “mncache.dat”, “fee_estimates.dat”, “banlist.dat” (if present).
Attention! Do not delete the “wallet.dat” file!

Delete old wallet from local computers (from home computers).
To do this, use the Windows section “Install or remove programs”.
Find the LightPayCoin wallet there and click delete (blockchain and wallet.dat files not removed).

Go to the official links section #💼official-links and download a new wallet.
Install a new wallet, launch it and wait for synchronization with the network.

You're really a kid idiot, right now many projects the price falls and this is not an indicator that the project is fraudulent, and the actions of one person, even if he is part of this project, you can not judge the whole project, as the project is not one person.

To all holders of LPC/LGS - @Pirrlokk is no longer with the LPC or LGS projects. Dr. Damon Bryant, the remaining members of the dev team, the brand ambassadors, partners, investors and Masternode holders are consolidating to a new Discord channel and abandoning this channel. The are big changes coming and we want to make sure that everyone stays well informed and has the opportunity to ask questions and contribute. Please take the time to join the new channel and become acquainted with all that’s going on.

Pirrlokk, eventually exited the Light Pay Coin project.
I wonder that he did the same with Logiscoin and LRM coin or not.
Where did you get the news on Pirrlokk exit?
On Discord channel or somewhere else?
If you read carefully, thou realized that Pirrlokk no longer involved in the project LightPayCoin and Logiscoin, and the draft LRM does not have any relationship to the LPC and LGS

Greetings LPC Community,

Many of you are aware of the situation that has unfolded over the past few months. On November 25, 2018, an announcement was made by the discord user Pirrlokk, revealing the launch of a third coin. Pirrlokk, also known as Wladyslaw Hintsynger, claimed that this third coin was launched by the creators of LPC/LGS. He stated that the 40 BTC raised through presale would be used to fund LPC ATM purchases. This action sent the community into turmoil, with many writing the project off as a scam and Ponzi scheme. As a result, 40 masternodes were taken off of the network and were dumped onto the market, causing the price to dramatically decline. To be clear, the LPC and LGS teams are not involved in LRM in any way, with Pirrlokk being the only exception. He acted alone in creating this coin, without the knowledge or consent of the LPC/LGS teams.

The LPC team and Dr. Bryant knew that some action was necessary to save the project. Together, we have decided to move on from Wladyslaw(aka Pirrlokk) as the LPC Dev, to restore credibility to the LPC/LGS projects. On February 6th, Pirrlokk revealed on the LRM discord that he had given control of the LPC/LGS Github repositories to Dr. Bryant, effectively removing himself from the team. Additionally, a new LPC Community discord was launched, giving the Brand Ambassadors and LPC Council full control over the community servers.

With Pirrlokk leaving, there is now an apparent need for a new developer. While Dr. Bryant is a developer himself, there are a number of other developers on the team, including many of the Brand Ambassadors and Council Members. However, staying true to the open-source vision of the project, steps are being taken to ensure that the community is able to contribute to development on a freelance basis (more details to come in the future).

The resignation of Wladyslaw from LPC marks a major turning point for the LPC/LGS projects, and restores some much-needed credibility to the projects. In response to the positive news, the community has already donated 3098 LPC to the development fund, which will fund the LPC Venezuela expansion project. The LPC team has generously agreed to match community donations up to 6000 LPC. With this in mind, the fundraising goal of 20000 LPC is already 38% raised in less than 24 hours! The future is bright for LPC. With the continued strong support of the community, the team is dedicated to lead the project with enthusiasm and transparency.
