What is going on with all the supposed transactions with TMF Group providing escrow? The following press release is from their website:

TMF Group has been made aware of emails, purporting to come from our company, asking respondents to complete an "Escrow Agreement" in order that a bitcoin transaction can be undertaken. We would like to make clear to that such emails have nothing to do with TMF Group

It has been stated another. It doesn't affiliate with scammers who mail asking to complete an "Escrow Agreement" and TMF do not trade btc itself.
