California - Sacramento - Comcast Cable Communications <--- That's the "host" for the server IP in the whois, so he is probably running the site at his home connection. Internet outage, maybe?
Be very wary of relying on JavaScript for security on crypto sites. The site can change the JavaScript at any time unless you take unusual precautions, and browsers are not generally known for their airtight security.

Comcast has been known to "encourage" (read: shut down) users who are discovered to be operating commercial sites to upgrade to business accounts.

most likely their will be some bad news, as I hear mr_moon is still answering pms and emails now and then. If comcast turned off his net,, well for one his irc nick wouldnt still be online and for two I would expect him first thing to come into the forums and explain that fact, especially after the mybitcoin fiasco.

I'm betting hack but of course this is all conjecture as i have very little info, it could just as easily be that mr coin has a hangover from partiing all weekend and hasnt gotten to rebooting his server. Tongue

But in the mean time... PANIC!!!!!

As for the forewarning from .. what you expect us to do? go to an exchange that has zero volume? or just not mine solidcoins

no response in irc yet.. a couple people ave said he responded to emails recently.. I really have zero reason to suspect mr_moon of anything right now. he has been very helpful to people in the recent past. that doesnt mean people cant change or cant suddenly need the money, but mr_moon seems like a good guy and has been very available and quick to help people with lost coins and has been working on improving his exchange.

I suspect what ever happened, it was out of his control
