has anyone received a refund for the 2 incidents of downtime in this thread?  just curious as i'm thinking of renting some of hostkey's rigs.   I've leased a few rigs from other providers and have had no downtime.
tks

D2 and D5 have both been down about an hour. I hope you can refund the lost mining time.

Leaser added time credit for down time. Excellent Renter!

I had about an hour of downtime.  Petr responded to email quickly and fixed the problem.  I'd rent these rigs again, just to have someone that responds in a reasonable time.  Price is good, as well.

Hi!
Rented your HOSTKEY3 (SCRYPT-A-NFACTOR 0.50 MH/S), but looks like is always on and off...also mining with around 100kHs, not 500 as mentioned. Can you check please and add some time cause of that?

Best regards
hostkey (OP)

Current hashing speed: 0.5 MH/s
Average hashing speed for past 135 minutes: 0.49 MH/s

so RIG are OK

Here is my review so far (good and needs imporovment)

I leased a 24hr 1.6mhs scrypt rig from Hostkey dirrectly (Hostkey20).'

First I deposited coins into their wallet to fund my lease (took 2 confirms)
Ordered my machine and added my worker info.
Hashes start coming in within 12min of deposit.

Nice work!

Now for the part where imporovement is needed.

The machine is currently reading 1300 khs and submitting share on average closer to 1.1mhs. This would be an underperformance of 25% or so. I know variance could cause this, but I have mutliple workers on the same pool that are not having this issue. Also, the stats on the LeaseRig site show it to be running around 1.59mhs. Now that dosent mean anything bad here. Im sure that the op will take a look into the issue and correct it, but I am just posting the facts here for research.

At the end of the day, this is a great service and despite the small issues, I am sure this will be something great. Good job.
'

Edit: Moments after I submited and two hours into the contract, speed is climbing. I would say if you have this issue, give it time.

I rented HOSTKEY15 for 72 hours. It was advertised as 815MH/s. I achieved an average of 750MH/s due to frequent unexplained outages.

I contacted HOSTKEY to express my concerns, asking simply for another 7 hours hashing with the rig to compensate me for the 10% loss on the advertised hash rate. I've heard nothing back...

To be honest, you are far better spending your BTC on buying alt-coins than hiring a rig. You will get far more coins!
