OK yes, I was a dipshit and didn't back up my wallets.  Got a virus and it deleted my wallet.dat files.  I was able to recover them, but when I load them I get a runaway exception error.  So I extracted the private keys.
When I try to import them into the new wallet I get a {"code":-5,"message":"Invalid private key"} error.

Any ideas why I can't import them into the -qt clients?

Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

Was your wallet password secured? Which client? For what it's worth, I was able to import some keys from a backed up multibit key file into a blockchain.info wallet (Multibit didn't accept the file).

They are not bitcoin keys, it's BATCOIN and Piratecoin.  I know shit coins, but I would love to get my coins back.
