Shacklewell Lane Mosque in Dalston, east of London, received donations in the form of bitcoins and other crypto currencies to expand donor bases and reduce currency exchange costs
For donors, just click the transfer button to the account provided by the charity at the mosque
maybe you are looking for a new way to donate for this month

That's very beautiful.
I hope more Masjids accept cryptocurrencies as payment.
I would most certainly donate in crypto.

Same suggestions, thus this place other than the mosque mimics the same thing. and make it easier to make donations
there are constraints by states that prohibit cryptocurrency

This is so pleasant to know.  We hope to see more and more people from differenty society and culture accepting crypto as legal money.

Yes, it is true. so in the eyes of the general view crypto not only digital currency, or for investment.
so I think the first step of cryptocurrency is enhanced into the public interest.

It doesn't matter what religion you practice, but it's a good sign for crypto. As more places in the world where the crypt will be accepted, that woud be better for all of us. Because bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies require implementation in life. They will not conquer the world until they are accepted in shops, cafes, banks, restaurants, etc. The adoption of the crypt in the mosque is another step towards introducing bitcoin and other coins to real life.
By the way,if I understand correctly, how Islam forbids taking interest and in general the main idea of cryptocurrencies is very consonant with the rules of money handling, which implies the Koran.

yes that is an obstacle for us, so maybe this is a good starting point for introducing cryptocurrency in real life, and beneficial to everyone.
so people can know that crypto is one of the alternative currency and transaction tools in the digital world

This is a postip thing done by the donation organizer, where the technology of digital currency Bitcoin in use for good, of course it becomes a special pride for Bitcoin users. We certainly hope there will be more activity activities that involve Bitcoin positively in it.

This is really great, very interesting idea .. In addition to introducing Bitcoin is also the right time to charity because this month is the month of Ramadan. As a Muslim I am very happy to hear that.

this is a very good idea to receive a bitcoin charity hopefully next year more and more people are donating it with bitcoin. this is not just introducing bitcoin alone, but one can see that bitcoin has a positive side for the surrounding community. hopefully the development of bitcoin continues to grow rapidly and no more negative issues that hit bitcoin.

I distinctly think I recall it was a Turkish mosque also in London that started this trend but they were only accepting 10,000 pounds sterling in donations, and only accepting Ether. I guess it's really going to be a Muslim trend if they can ever determine globally that it is permissible/halal to do this. Not sure why religious people would want to deny it when it is a far better system than interest based fiat. Maybe soon Jewish people in Israel will start accepting Bitcoin for their wall. haha

Yes, I also hope Bitcoin can be used for other goodness. Such as humanitarian donations or natural disasters that occur in each country. So, Bitcoin is not just used for online payments or the like.

good idea. but if a country prohibits its use, it will be one of the obstacles in its operation,
perhaps if there is a need to establish fundraising organizations for this type of crypocurrency.

Yeah I also read about this news before some days, thats a cool gesture. But bitcoin has a high fee, I wish there was some other coin that they would accept for donations.. For a small donation you have to pay the same amount for fee , and this is money loss ...

this is really a memorable thing, because there is a mosque that receives donations from bitcoin, hopefully this kind of activity can continue. because things like this can reduce negative values about bitcoin and we as bitcoin players would be proud of this donation. let alone this month full of blessings so this is the right time to share.

It is a smart move by the management of the mosque. This is something I have for long expected charity homes and similar organizations or institutions to do. It’s good a religious body is accepting bitcoin, this indicates that there is some good in bitcoin.
