Benjamin Lawsky (superintendent of financial services) seems to be in favor in Bitcoin. He wants New York to be a Bitcoin/New technologie hub.
He also hopes that Bitcoin will force the traditional financial industry to step up there game (e.g. faster transactions).  Grin

Why is it that all the people that they get in these hearing are all pro regulation anti silk road ect ect... I would like to see somebody on one of these panels turn the table on these the criminals that are doing the questioning.

Come on! .... they didnt tell them about a hybrid rule of PoW and PoS can be made within a day that it will nullify 51% attack completely..... Thats the strength of Bitcoin! it can grow and adapt!
