The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

How is this coin supposed to be functional? I mean, even a fee of one satoshi would kill it...

It's actually a good idea to have a low number of coins.  One might be too small though.  Bitcoin will have 2,100,000,000,000,000 (quadrillion) satoshi's.  The more divisible a coin is the harder it is to gain value, mathmatically.  So I assume we'll only have 100,000,000 Anacoin'oshi's.  That makes me want some!  Probably going to be scrypt.  ~314 BTC = One 42coin so who knows what this will be.
