I send some tweets to news sites about cryptocoins. That there must be a nice article in our history :-)

Also made a request to get a topic on cryptocointalk.

And put some info on the dutch subboard of this forum.
I think some Games and Services would be nice to have. And a faucet.
At the moment we're something like a underdog.
Price was already at 0.002 before the Crash. That should easy be possible again especially now that the huge premine is gone. So promo and real world use cases are needed.
Best you can do now that price is so low is buying.
We have a good community which is willing to do something for the coin. That's good.
And don't forget at the moment nearly all coins are down.
All we need is some patience.

I am going to buy some of this coin.
Hope the community wont disappoint me Smiley

btw, whats the exchange all about?
When are we planning to have a beta version to play with?
I hope devs are already working on it.

Also since this coin is not for everyday use bcause of its low volume, whos the target audience for this coin?

Thanks

Good idea. But if the community disappoints you or not is your decision too.
We are the community, that includes you too.
If everyone waits that someone else does the work nothing will happen.
And if we see this as a chance and not as a duty this coin can be big and make all of us rich which believed in it from the beginning.

Randy pNut is the dev of the exchange platform, perhaps he can tell you when a first beta will be available.

I sent 30 etok to coined up right before the trouble. Now nothing is in my coined up account and showing nothing but the transaction in my wallet.

What do I need to post here to recover them?

I don't know. There are 10 different versions in my dropbox link. It's Not my decision.
If some of you like one of the logos then we have a new logo. Otherwise we need more to choose from.
We could pre select the best ones and do a voting.

Please fix the spelling errors in the OP as follows:

Token was created on januari (January) 7th of 2014.

The secure transactions, good name and low numbers of coins made it populair (popular) right away. Also a exhange (exchange) platform around eToken was in development from the start.

After the original developer left when a bugged fork was made. We had the chance to take what was good about the coin and changed the parts that where (were) holding it back. 3 major points where (were) improved. The difficulty retargeting, the bonus blocks where discontinued and most important the 100k of the old premine/bank was blocked (in the source code!).

With this we secured the future of the coin. And gave a signal to the outside world that eToken will be a trusted cryptocurrency. The community will go very far to keep it that way. All the code is open for review (see info below).

Other members of the orignal (original) development where (were) welcomed back and are working on the exchange platform right now. It will be build here http://www.e-token.org/

I want to thank everyone who in anyway contributed to the revival of eToken. Special thanks to Murkanovic for his dev work.

The best way to say thank you:

Contact coinedup with the transaction id when your coins were pre-fork coins.
If they were from after the broken fork then they're gone.
But no need to post your details here, you have to resolve that problem with coinedup.
