It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

So, what's with the 450 payout on dedicated? isn't it supposed to be 4500???  ( http://www.swagco.in/)

Starting difficulty was really low so the "60 second" blocks were being found in less than a second each. A coin "day" is the number of blocks in a usual day at 60 second block time. With the huge network hashrate a "days worth" of blocks was found in less than 30 minutes. The 1440 block difficulty-retarget didn't help this either. Everything has calmed down now. The difficulty is now at 10 and the "Est. Avg. Time per Round (Network) = 1 minute" so difficulty will now retarget about this time tomorrow (if the network hashrate stays roughly the same that is.)

/**
 * This defines how rewards are paid to users.
 *
 * Explanation:
 *
 *  Proportional + PPLNS Payout System
 *   When running a pool on fixed mode, each block will be paid
 *   out as defined in `reward`. If you wish to pass transaction
 *   fees inside discovered blocks on to user, set this to `block`.
 *   This is really helpful for altcoins with dynamic block values!
 *
 *  PPS Payout System
 *   If set to `fixed`, all PPS values are based on the `reward` setting.
 *   If you set it to `block` you will calculate the current round based
 *   on the previous block value. The idea is to pass the block of the
 *   last round on to the users. If no previous block is found, PPS value
 *   will fall back to the fixed value set in `reward`. Ensure you don't
 *   overpay users in the first round!
 *
 * Available options:
 *  reward_type:
 *   fixed : Fixed value according to `reward` setting
 *   block : Dynamic value based on block amount
 *  reward:
 *   float value : Any value of your choice but should reflect base block values
 *
 * Default:
 *   reward_type  = `fixed`
 *   reward       = 50
 *
 **/

$config['reward_type'] = 'block';
$config['reward'] = 450;

That means calculate estimated based on 450 per normal block, but the 'block' portion means if the block is WORTH more or LESS than 450, then use the real block value.

In essence, the blocks are paying exactly what they are worth.

So this means the 2 days of bonus blocks were mined in an hour?Huh
Way to go ! Well thought developers,...

Sorry for the confusion, but I meant that the dev's promised an early bird bonus of 4500 per block. Now it seems all bonus blocks were mined in the first 30-60 minutes,...

We did promise an early bird bonus. We did deliver on the bonus. Just that we did it in a very short amount of time Smiley We honestly didn't anticipate 500Mh at launch. But we're making it up slowly but surely to early miners. Giveaway thread link will be up in less then an hour or so. Thank you for your support.

I'm pushing 3MH/s at Dedicated and I was earlybird (with just severalhundred KH/s as earlybird cause I needed to hit payout threshhold on different altcoin pool) so I'm looking forward for giveaway.

If you don't mind PRE-GIVEAWAY, my adress is 97pkjbpLCXSAs5UoBbfs2aBCVUAb82Lgks Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy
