The biggest loan was probably also the biggest scam, back in 2011 people would loan out amounts in excess of 100 btc very easily.

Many runners took this opportunity to make free bitcoins.

I did quite a bit of lending "back in the day" and hung out a lot in the lending sub-forum.  I never go there now - it is a waste of time.  But I do remember being impressed by this loan:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=73599.0

The borrower is still active here on the forums which means he may have paid it off, or is still paying it back.

Our family was terrorized by Homeland Security.  Read all about it here:  http://www.jmwagner.com/ and http://www.burtw.com/  Any donations to help us recover from the $300,000 in legal fees and forced donations to the Federal Asset Forfeiture slush fund are greatly appreciated!

I woulda had a 3000-6000 loan for a large multi-themed hookah lounge if I wasn't attacked by trolls.

I swear that place would have made a couple hundred thousand by now but I suppose it's not my fate.

Get real dank, you were never going to get a loan that large.  We know you too well Wink

Sure dank, trolls. It had nothing to do with your lack of effort, refusal to plan or inability or understand basic business requirements. It was clearly all those people who basically spoon fed you a list of all the shit you needed to address and tried to help you get your business idea focussed.

Stupid trolls, everything's their fault. Not yours though, no.
