Starting today an ad similar to this will be airing on more than 100 radio stations accross the USA: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M5E2gBuvweE (Please post this video on your facebook so all your friends and family will now know there is an easy way for them to buy Bitcoins!) It will be read live, on air by the radio host. A list of the stations and times can be found here: http://www.freetalklive.com/affiliatesI would appreciate your feedback on anything that you think should be changed or added. I would also like suggestions for other Bitcoin related ads that should be done. (I'm trying to think of one about how MTGOX is better and cheaper than paypal) This ad is not free, so if you want to help support it, please donate to Memory Dealers directly at: 1HgMWGjRiMX7dhnpnRgo59mHHTBT6MheQW

Nice. Just curious, what is the relationship between MemoryDealers.com and exchangebitcoins.com? Are you just buying advertising for them for free, or do you own a stake in this exchange? Obviously its none of my business but like I said, curious.

I don't have any direct relationship with exchangebitcoins.com other than I met them at the NYC Bitcoin conference. I'm just a fan of Bitcoins and how I think they will change the world. I want to do everything I can to make those changes come sooner rather than later. I'm just as happy to pay for a radio ad for mtgox, or ruxum or any other Bitcoin business that I think would benefit. I chose exchangebitcoins.com because of their ability to take cash deposits. I suspect that will appeal to a lot of people around the country. If you have an idea for any other great ads, please post them here. Lets make it happen!

I have no idea, so I would like to have a backup radio ad ready. Any good ideas for the next one?

A potential problem with this is that people might not know what exactly bitcoins are, while your ad is already talking about how to buy them. You might want to listen to a few of the ads that go like, "Do you hate fiat money? There's one investment that works! Gold! Gold has gone up blahblahblah over the past 10 years," because something like that would tell the listener what you're talking about.

You can also include the Canadian Exchanges that accept cash at Banks within Canada in CAD (Bitcoin-central.net and Virtex). This will provide people more incentive to use bitcoins globally.

For the last 6 months or so a general ad about Bitcoins has been running, so most of the listeners have been hearing about them for months. Here is a copy of the old ad: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H15HyTti8vk

The ad is read on-air by the host. So whatever show it's on, that show's host reads it. Also, I thought black people don't use bitcoins?

As far as I know all banks allow this. Someone can walk into my bank and deposit cash into my account - I'd be happy and so would the bank. Why not?

Hello, I would like to make one correction. We allow cash deposits now at Bank of America and Wells Fargo and are working on adding more banks. We have discontinued Chase for reasons unrelated to our cash deposit feature. We all have to thank Roger for his outstanding support of Bitcoin and we at ExchB feel honored to be mentioned in this first-of-its kind national radio ad campaign. Sincerely, David Sterry, President ExchB: The 1st US BItcoin Exchange https://www.exchangebitcoins.com

Don't forget to post the youtube video on your Facebook or google+ !!!!!
The more people that hear about how easy it is to buy Bitcoins the better!
Mtgox is great, but it is better for bitcoin as a whole if they don't have 95% of the exchange market.

Roger, this is fantastic! Btw, the cash deposit feature is great...I've tested it twice now. On both occasions, by the time I made it back home, my exchb account had been credited.
