Good name and not having coin in the name does not make a bit a difference. For example BitCasino.com sold for $22,270 last August and as mentioned above look at names like bitpay or bitstamp.
btw - as we have seen in the past despite all the new tld's, .com still remained king. IMHO the new tlds are not going to make much of a difference.
We shall see on .com. There has never been a major launch of new TLDs - just a very slow dribble of stuff (rubbish) like .biz. 1,200 in a single year is the first real expansion in the gTLD program and a complete change in direction for ICANN from "very limited supply" of gTLDs to "almost unlimited supply". Whether it strengthens or weakens .com, nobody knows yet.
