Once I get my first .1 Btc, what can I do to get what I have to grow hopefully grow into 1 BTC.

You need to be patient or just fall into a coma about 50 years then sell it.
Bitcoin addresses contain a checksum, so it is very unlikely that mistyping an address will cause you to lose money.

I notice you mentioned you cannot mine. If you want to try a coin that you can "mine" (actually we call it minting) on a regular computer without high energy costs might I suggest MINT?  Cheesy You can mint more coins simply by holding coins in your wallet for 20 days. It's equal to 20% interest compounding for the first year if you don't never move your coins from your wallet. Or you can buy stuff in over 30 different merchant sites that accept MINT as well as trade it on an exchange or use it to gamble on one of the sites that accepts MINT. I think it's a pretty good "investment" to fool around with, mainly because I like the community and we are trying to develop the full potential of the coin.

get the official wallet here:
http://mintcoin.cc/download-wallet/

Trade your btc for MINT here:
https://www.mintpal.com/

If things work out we may even have a way to mine on your android device as well.

And since you are a new, welcome, but remember do your due diligence and be careful there are a lot of crafty tricksters out there.  Shocked

Store your BTCs securely and make regular backups. Try to earn more and more BTCs.

You can hold it and wait for the price to recover and rise beyond the current limits. or you can try investing it in one of the investment scheme now.
