I am using Multiminer as it is easy to use and seems to give me all of the details I want.

My question is about stopping the mining process for whatever reason. I bought an antminer and had to stop my software so that I could put it in the computer and get it running.

I know that I am not mining when my computer is turned off or not actively mining, but do I lose out when my mining stops?

In other words, if I have Shares accepted and stop my miner for any reason, do I lose all of the shares I was working on?

Thanks

Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

No.

But, different pools may have a different reward systems.

Say, for PPS, when you submit your shares, the pool will credit you directly.
And for PPLNS, the pool will distribute the block rewards among the last N shares. So, even if you have submitted shares, you may not be paid for those shares or you could be paid double or triple or more.

Thanks Sonny. Just wanted to make sure I was not messing up any pools in case I decide to try something else.
