Bell's Porter and Dogfish Head 60 Minute IPA are two fantastic American microbrews.

Only german beers are the best...
I haven't sampled all beers yet but I tend to agree with that. German beers tend to have an original "more natural" taste which I like. ya.ya.yo!

You can find realy cheap beers (for EU standards) in Poland or Slovakia. They rarely cost above 0.8€, most brands are 0.6€.
Don't know about Slovakia, but in Poland you won't get anything that would be actually good for that price. We have a lot of decent (and some pretty awesome - Pinta or Alebrowar are all great) beers, but rarely below 2 euro. Just go to Czech Republic if you're there.

These are good beers IMO, first one costs below 1€ the second one you can get for 1.2€ or less. Cheaper ones can be decent as well e.g. Łomża, Perła.

This is an okay porter, though I've drank better (Grand Imperial Porter, for example). I don't like Ciechan very much, though, and Łomża and Perła are just your regular supermarket lagers.
