At the Bitcoin Miami conference Bitcoin developers(TheBlueMatt, Luke-Jr, and Super3) and members of the community discussed very important issues. Out of those discussed we generated a concept of Pizzacoin with the with Innovative Proof-of-Pizza. It is extremely ASIC resistant, and allows merged cooking in the same oven. There is absolutely no pre-mine. Might be a little pre-baked...What is Pizzacoin?Listen to our discussion about Pizzacoin on Soundcloud. How do I get Pizzacoin?Pizzacoin is a community funded effort. The genesis pizza's address is 1 pieg46FSLknCyfnvW6mLLavV8hShV9BW. Funds "expenses," food for developers, and pizza blocks. Current price per pizza for the IPO is as follows. Day 1 - 1 BTC = 1 Pie Day 2 - 1 BTC = 1/2 Pie Day 3 - 1 BTC = 1/4 Pie etc... With pizza reward for the funding period halving everyday. When will Pizzacoin be released? We estimate development time will be 2 weeks tm. More InfoPizzacoin Whitepaper: Joe White is working on the whitepaper. Pizzacoin Sourecode and Binaries: 2 weeks tm. How to Bake1. Order pizza 2. Take a picture of your pizza, with time stamped note 3. Find the sha256 hash of your picture using Hashslash4. This becomes your "merkle root" 5. Append your merkle root to end of the previous block hash to find your block hash. 6. Post your block details here. 7. 8. Pizza > Profit

If we have learned anything from the recent alt-coin explosion it's that we don't have to do it first to be the best.
I'm working on the whitepaper and have given some access to a few of the other members to view my progress.
I currently am working to build up my sha256 mining farm a bit but I expect that I should be able to have a white paper released within two more weeks.
After that I hope to build up my pizzeria and bakery rapidly
just remember pizza regulators: you will never be a part of this.
I am glad to have met with these awesome devs to be able to express my exciting new proof-of concept and I feel that it can go a long way to helping end world hunger and to help ease all those late night cravings that developers like ourselves face every day.
I personally am extremely excited for ice cream a la mode.
I will be working on the pizza ring today and hope to have pie #1 ordered this afternoon. There's just too many toppings and so little time, I can not decide!

Hopefully we can get a few developers to give us some more novel ways to create our pie ring (block chain) and allow it to remain decentralized. As you know it is getting harder and harder for individual pizzerias to compete with national chains like dominoes, pizza hut, and the likes. I expect we will see a huge spike in munching power in america (and around the world) during the upcoming superbowl. I am factoring these seasonal spikes in to the difficulty algo so that higher quality ingredients are required during these spikes with a rapid recalculation and decline in difficulty once these events are over.

SCAM! ketchup instead tomatoes! Eventually we will hardfork to allow you to choose the sauce as well, but i think to start tomato is easier to prove than ketchup. Although I'm open to suggestions and the protocol is based on general consensus of how the word "pizza" is defined

+1 Here's a few sentence appetizer of the white paper abstract for anyone interested. " A purely peer-to-peer version of electronic pizza delivery would allow late night hunger to be satisfied directly online from one party to another without going through an established pizza institution. Pizza toppings provide part of the satisfaction, but the main benefits are lost if a trusted pizzeria is still required to prevent the double-eating problem using a peer-to-peer network. The network timestamps delivery by hashing a photo of each pizza into an ongoing ring of hash-based, photo enforced, proof-of-pizza, forming a record of all pizzas known to have been delivered so that a record cannot be changed without re-baking the pizza. "

My favorite is "Proof of Steak".
We must merge mine this somehow into this new algo but I don't know how to solve the issue with all the mad cows.
Excellent lunch Guys! Was glad to be a part of that.

I've been a bit side tracked with the bakery asking for cannoli and had to push the proof-of-pizza white paper release back a week. But be assured we will make sure to have it released in two more weeks
