Has anyone had recent experience with the current (not historical) delays at MtGox for withdrawing funds?
What sort of delay should I expect?

I requested a withdrawal of USD 8,050 from MtGox on 14 December 2013 to my bank account but 6+ weeks later I have not received the funds.
After several Support Request updates, MtGox offered to send the funds "sent through a manual process" for a 5% fee for a quicker service.
On 28 January 2014 I requested that MtGox either (a) transfer the funds with the 5% fee provided they can do so within 7 working days, or (b) cancel the USD transfer request and credit my MtGox cash account with the funds so I can buy BTC and transfer them out of MtGox.

I think the delays in transferring the funds and replying to Support Request updates are completely unacceptable.

Is there any regulating authority in Japan to which I can make a complaint about the poor MtGox "customer service" and transfer delays?
It appears that the Japan Financial Services Authority is not responsible for MtGox. So who is responsible?

Let this be a warning to others about this company.

Yes. I don't understand why anybody is still using Mt.Gox.
Reading the comments on their own Facebook page was enough to scare me away.

As because they are the oldest exchange, people still trust them the most. Even BitcoinExchange.com redirect to them.

Because of limited other options (thats improving though)  and they still get reffered to heavily in the news and a lot of new comers to bitcoin have no idea how bad gox is/can be.   Also their insane value of bitcoin at gox compared to other exchanges causes a lot of uneducated people to get greedy and see $$$ signs only to later realize they can't get their money out and that's why the abritage is so high.

mtgox had the luxury of being one of the first, as time goes on though I expect to see mtgox fade away as new and better options keep popping up.

May I request answers to the three specific questions on my original post.
I repeat . . .
1. Has anyone had recent experience with the current (not historical) delays at MtGox for withdrawing funds?
2. What sort of delay should I expect?
3. Is there any regulating authority in Japan to which I can make a complaint about the poor MtGox "customer service" and transfer delays?
Thanks.

3 - Why do you think Gox has the best price for Bitcoin?

Do a search and read ... all information you need is already here...

Manobra - my query is about withdrawing USD FUNDS.
The three threads refer to withdrawing BITCOINS.
Have I misunderstood something?
