We (I) need preparation time for a fair start. You can't simply deploy a miner to 3000 PCs within a few minutes.

So that's the catch with "no pre-mining". They can start right away while everybody else has to (figure out how to) setup their miners first.

Q: Can I buy MaxCoin?
A: Not yet, but it will be listed on exchanges in the future. Coins-e has made contact to add it to their exchange, so it is looking to be the first to list the coin. I am sure others will make it available in time!

there is a pool available for pre-registration already, see: https://max.poolers.org

I used this pool for CON in the past and it's good. More than that, I was lucky to win a steam game at a "giveaway" there, received it just now.

Will definitely use it for maxcoin too.
