F*** coins-e pack of robbing bas****. I put 0.8btc up on it last week and it was robbed. Not my fault, some corrupt bastards on that site.

Can anyone confirm stuff like this? Site praises improved security.

A: Not yet, but it will be listed on exchanges in the future. Coins-e has made contact to add it to their exchange, so it is looking to be the first to list the coin. I am sure others will make it available in time!

This pooler is not going to work. They pre-prepared the server counting that the maxcoind is ready to use with MPOS PHP.

sorry but this is not a scrypt coin, how shall this pool work then ? You CANT mine with GPU and cgminer on it.

there is not a cgminer or cpu miner or what ever ready for this coin...so far! so forget about it!!  

the --scrypt key in the get started section of the pool is just a mistake perhaps.  I guess they'll be using a modified version of the CopperLark cgminer, which can be found here:  https://github.com/smolen/cgminer or https://github.com/Eropi4/cgminer_keccak.   So the key will be --keccak  

If CopperLark miner won't work by default the the ripper's opencl keccak implementation may be another option (should be easy to only adjust the cl file there).

Let's wait for the launch and see.

You do realize there are already GPU implementations of Keccak, right? This isn't some ground breaking tech like Primecoin, it's more of a question how long their implementation of Keccak will take to port.

You wouldn't be able to because the coin claims to be a different algo which currently will not work with cgminer without making changes to it.

To be fair to the max.poolers.org, the guy did say that the information on the get started page will be updated closer to the launch when he has more information.

The settings for the pool will be provided by max.poolers.org owners when they are ready for it and the GPU miners will be made available by the maxcoin dev team at the launch I hope (at least they are considering it), so what you see here is just a guess, please take it as that.

yep coin-e.com is the only official announced exchange as far as i know.

The pool to work they will need to change the stratum server to work with the nw encryption PLUS the MPOS PHP code to allow keccak SHA3 + all the encryption mods.

MAXCOIN is not normal keccak sha3(sha3())! its much more encryptions.... but lets wait and see in a couple of hours in the source code etc
