anyone having issues with 1GH. Cgminer is mining and work is accepted but on the site the when i check the address the last block it shows shares from was 35 min ago. Any Ideas?

Also getting <unknown work> pop up on some of it?

Yesterday i've downloaded it from there and IT IS WORKING! i don't know if they deleted some files or what but there should me cpu miner + maxcoin-qt! (BOTH!)

This coin is a total failure:

• developers never heard about testnet, and launched coin in real net
• released untested binaries, that simply don't run, because developers haven't ever heard about static linking
• they don't know how to make releases using github release system, and just push zipped binaries
• they don't know how to prepare source code for compilation, and then push unprepared code to repository (figuring out how to compile that code took me about 15-30 minutes, and I'm one of those "skilled nerds")
• think about all other people who wanted to participate in launch, and don't know how to compile code
• official pool "max.rocketpool.co.uk" is stealing maxcoins http://www.reddit.com/r/maxcoinproject/comments/1xcfu2/maxrocketpoolcouk_are_currently_thieves/
• the only pool that really worked (for me at least) was max.1gh.com until it was DDoSed to oblivion, and official twitter response: https://twitter.com/maxcoinproject/status/431571916764483585  - that it is a scam. You call that a good communitation between developers upon launch??
• how hard would it be for maxcoin to reach out for people who wish to cooperate before launch. But no - it is better to find out live, who is interested in creating pools.
• majority of miners are botnet owners right now, I don't want to see the crash when they decide to cash out. I will not be here anyway.

I'm out. If I ever see any article about maxcoin in any major outlet, my response will be exactly what they deserved.

This has been a masterful orchestration of a launch that gave control of mining to insiders, while maintaining the ruse that "regular" miners were being given a chance to participate. And the end result is that those - like Max Keiser - that want to promote the coin and pump its value have enough coins to manipulate the market. EVERY SINGLE THING that the crypto community is against was done here. And he'll get away with it.

we need more coins like that.

1. don't launch a working QT, or just pretend your download link is over bandwidth
2. claim a cpu coin.
3. get some celebrities behind it so it will be in coin-e the first day.
4. don't compile the source code.
5. leave at least one bug(but no more than two) in the source code.
6. keep pumping in twitter, facebook, or doing something doge style in public.

leave the rest of work to ppl in bitcointalks, so everyone will appreciate whatever coin you are making.

just yesterday I was on there CPU mining and it worked great.. now I have all my GPUs pointed at it and im in the same boat as you.. no movement showing.. at all... its accepting all my shares though..

EDIT.. faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarc.. no block confirmations for an hour... better fire up your nodes people!

You must be doing something wrong.
Please make sure you have the right wallet address in your bat file.
I made a simple explanation how to mine from 1gh, restart and do it all over.

1. Download Cgminer at http://maxdl.1gh.com/cgminer-windows.zip?nocache=0.7462486436124891
2. Extract zip
3. Go into folder
4. Edit max1gh_start.bat
5. Change wallet address to your wallet address.
6. Save file
7. Run file

That's it.
If it doesn't work, update driver, update windows.

Tip: change your intensity to 14 while cgminer is running.
1. Push (G)
2. Push (I)
3. Select gpu by writing 0 then enter
4. Write 14, then enter.
if you have more gpus, just repeat step 3 and 4 by writing 1, 2, 3 etc depending on how many gpu's you have

You'll be able to see your balance and stats on http://max.1gh.com/
Just paste your wallet address into the User Stats.

Im mining for 1.5 hours, and got 1 maxcoin, hashrate 130Mhs
