Congratulations guys, Prospercoin has been added to the shitcoin list. It's guilty until proven innocent; the burden of proving this is not so is on you. Silence is considered admission of guilt.

Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

Everybody please report operation shitcoin to the moderators- they are running an extortion racket, making people pay them money to prevent them from killing their coin. It's a great idea in theory (to clean out scamcoins), but they are turning into more of a scam/problem than what they are trying to "fix".

Good enough for me... so glad i bought more videocards... I was doubting between cards and gridseeds... but soon realised there will be a counter to gridseeds with LOTS of coins...

This is some good news i think... one step further away of getting raped by asics...  Grin

+1 to n-scrypt...

Did you also consider any of the alternatives like scrypt-jane or x11?

Getting quite ridiculous here.

By the way, did you think about launching a standalone forum... maybe once you are done with the casino project. May be more constructive than all the drama and trolling here

We did and we chose scrypt-n to make it as easy as possible for miners and newbie miners.

Newbie miners can use guiminer with vertminer included to make it easier.

May i advice instead of scrypt-n go toward x11?

this mining Double the hasrate on most cards , this will help the value rise and will maintain a high hasrate at all time.

Betting on esports with crypto's and steam items has never been easier.

I personally like x11 it is future proof at the moment and as you say 3-4 times the hashing power less energy used.

We have spoken to https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=150331.0 guiminer-scrypt if they will add it soon then we will re think scrypt-n

It is for the coin best interest.

The sooner you get into x11 the sooner you take advantage of the market.

Excuse me but what are the reasons for forking the coin?

Be aware that scrypt-n, altough it works, is not suported by MPOS. I am really interested on the technical reasons for why change the coin algo, community choice is not a technical reason.

Prospercoin has a total of 60mh on the whole network.

With x11 it will boost to 180mh + less cost on electricity + higher price on the market due to a higher hashrate.

How would you not want this change when there's no better change then this.

The technical reasons are abundant, but with ASICs coming in soon, what more reason do you need?

Ahead of the curve, or miss the boat...
