If it is its gonna cause a fork in the block chain and make a 51 attack possible. Not good.

Anyone please help me out. I have .2 coin from polonix and haven't any other way to get some prospercoins. Please and thanks. I really like the way this coin is launched and is developing.  Qg3hJuLML8kyH6wZUYxUGMiLLHSvsdAHvp

It is worth mentioning that as of writing this, the pool hash rate at webcoin.us is: 54.3 MH/s and getmininginfo says the network hash is 58915207.

This is a serious concern as the poster above mentioned!

This is just not true and people should really understand how this works.

What you are saying can only happen if the pool owner does this deliberately. The operator of the pool with over 51% has to make the attack themselves and cause the breakaway as this is the official prospercoin pool this will not happen so you have no worries at all Smiley

But thank you for your concern for prospercoin

Yesterday a new seed computer was purchased for Prospercoin.

I will send you a coin when i have time loz

Official pool or not, if we going down the same road as netcoin, (all network hash on a single pool) no serious investor will pick the coin up, just the usual pump and dump folk. Watch out for that  Undecided

Isn't there the problem where one pool having over 51% of the hashrate results in more orphans for other miners and pools?

My pool at http://prospercoin.treasurequarry.com:37373  has just found its first block but it ended up orphaned.  Not sure how worthwhile it'll be running a pool if one designated "official pool" continues to have the huge majority of the hashrate.

I will ask the users to spread the hash rate over the pools..

I will move my small hash rate to another pool as well.. to help.

At the moment we are just building up hash rate we are still a very small coin ..

I have rented some hash rate and sent it to your pool and moved my hash rate to you as well Smiley thank you for the advice..

I am compiling MAC OSX Wallet as we speak, i'm setting up developer team to work on several application support for Prosper Coin that allow other developer use it as platform to trade Prosper with other thing.

Prosper is here, and we meant business, as a founder and developer we don't even care pre-mine, PRC is rare and remain rare
