As the title says, how much would you be willing to pay for a well made indie game?
And what do you want in a game?

This is by the way not really market researching (I can't code anyway), I ask because I'm curious! Smiley

Depending on the type if it's the same old I wouldn't even waste a $ on it.

I would pay good money to see that but what developer cares about its customers?

Depends how good the game is.

If it's really well made and brings back the magic of the old school games that I miss then easily $30-40

Sure, if you charge any higher it has to be something as big as Skyrim realistically, big companies and publishers often think they can get away with charging that much because of their brands but once gamers get burned enough they'll do everything to see the companies burn as well.

it would matter to me if it was indie or not. Some of the best movies are indie.

how good it is, is all that matters!

The amount of content which I don't have to pay because it's a DLC would encourage me.

Can't say I blame you.

But if I was a developer, I'd try to follow other business models if possible, like League of Legends and its ilk.

Interesting answers. I myself would like to see games without pay-2-win or in-game purchases. Hope any indie-developers see this thread.
Thanks for answering! Smiley

Depends on the reviews. If it has very good ones, then i'll be willing to pay, maybe $20 tops.

Depends how much time I'd spend playing it. There are some really time consuming ones, for such I'd pay ~$30 if it was good.

Path of Exile is a free indie game and better than 99% of big studio games. I'd easily be willing to pay the normal 60ish $ price for it.

All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us.
