How you divide your wealth between altcoins and bitcoin!

Hello purpose of this post is to checkout the % distribution among the two commodities that we have here. I believe everyone see BTC and ALTS as different assets for the many reasons that we know.

On the scale of $ 100, if you were told to distribute the money in Altcoins and Bitcoins then how much will go in the account of BTC and how much will be in the altcoins account?

Also explain why you have chose that % !

The facts before you answer :

It doesn't matter which altcoin you are investing in. Just think about all kinds of altcoin altogther, whether they are under development, developed, running with full nodes etc etc.

Bitcoin has no conditions as such as it is what it is right now.



Let me start first :

BTC Allcoation would be : $ 25

ALT Allocation would be : $ 75

My reasons :

Altcoins are very much premature stage of bitcoin and I see them as little BTC of 2009 who eventually out busted like very crazy. After the period of 10 years all the altcoins (legit one) will have chance to grow and garnish themselves the same way and hence I think putting at least 75 % gross amount in it would be profitable.

My reasons :

We came from a very tough correction and bitcoin is the most affected one. Bitcoin's dominance is high and will never fade so this can be a sure bet not only for long term holders but to newbies as well. My allocation for altcoin isn't that great but that's good for day trading.

My reasons :

I don't want to take high risk of my investments. I use 50% Bitcoin to protect my altcoin investment lose. If altcoin fails to make profits, Bitcoin will help me to save the initial investment. I don't need too much profit, that's why I split it in this way.

My reasons :

I want to find a unique altcoin that will grow many times after ICO. Something like Ether. This is not easy to do, but I try. Maybe later I will reconsider my portfolio. But for today it looks like this.

My reasons :

I am always ambiguous about both type of investment. If you would asked me same question some few months ago then may be my % allocation for the BTC could have been around 70% because back then it had really really good movement. Now a days I have seen some potential in various altcoins who are getting my attention to invest into them. This is coming out as result of disturbed patterns of bitcoin and too much ups and downs. If I was supposed to experience that then why shoud not try altcoins which are behaving the same way. They are undervalued as compared to BTC and thus making me more profits as I can buy lot of quantities of them by investing same money. Thats why 50% goes straight into them these days.

  My reasons : I think btc is more reliable than any other coins so I choose to hold more btc. But if I am careful enough, I can find the good alts to make the profit I need. So I will buy some alts as well.

I think Bitcoin is more of a belief, innovation is always ALT, so from a perspective of the future, ALT is more valuable.

Since I am a bounty hunter I am earning free Altcoins from bounties and airdrops. That is why I only got small amount of Bitcoin earnings because I am in a bounty program that prioritizes Altcoin with just small amount of Bitcoin allocation as payment. Most bounty hunters prefer Altcoin as holdings most especially those that has potential to grow because it might worth thousands or millions in the coming months or years. What I did with my Altcoins before, I converted all of it into Bitcoin when there is a good timing.

Fluctuation in BTC prices makes it very unstable to commit so much money, so I keep that percentage for BTC bull runs. I prefer to stagger 70% of my money in alts that move very fast and I can buy bags to give me substantial profits when there's a spike in price, thus enabling me to make good profits

As everyone will have their own strategy for their portofolio so i will not say yours is bad and mine is better.
For actually i will not put my money in bitcoin but i used bitcoin as reference to buy or sell. I will buy etherium in 50% and others in other altcoin. Not only one coin, maybe 5 till 10 maximum.

Well ofcourse it depends on your plan always there are people go there portfolio all in the altcoins there are some 50/50 it really depends on how you look into crpyto market that you think which will give you more profit but it is always to good hold Bitcoin in your portfolio.

holding as bitcoin as bitcoin is much more stable, with a large number of investors, companies and hedge funds on it, you can aspect a secure future. On the other way alts are the ones if you desire quick profit. It's not a difficult task to predicte the price movement of alts and with right timing, your earning are limitless.

Most of the time I invest most of my money in BTC.
Only a small amount of money was invested in altcoin because it was risky.

bitcoin is still the most dominant of alt available today, indeed for speed and transaction costs, bitcoin is still less than alt, but this does not mean bad bitcoin. I still expect a lot of bitcoin to immediately launch the lightning network and immediately solve the existing problems.

I won't go on bitcoin and altcoins alone I'm gonna include fiat also because of BTC dip,  so everything is gonna be 33% fiat 33% btc 34% altcoins , you use fiat in buying btc when in dip and you use BTC in buying altcoins when in dip,  cool and easy way to make nice money

Personally i invest on bitcoin because i feel it is more secure project for investment. But altcoin also doing well. I observe them. If they maintain their performance i will also invest on altcoin.

Bitcoin is the most popular crypto currency and it affect most other coins. So, i would divide it like 60% on bitcoin, 30% on ethereum and rest of the investment goes to other coins.
